Sept. 18-Oct. 23rd - 1:00-3:30p.m. at Hansen's Your Independent Grocer. "Living A Healthy Life," take charge of your life workshop. This a free workshop for people who have or care for someone with arthritis, asthma/COPD and other numerous topics. See poster on back bulletin board. Pre-registration is required.

Sept. 21st - Due to the fact Hydro is being shut down in our area from 4 am to 12 noon, Council has decided to cancel our church service for that morning. INSTEAD, we are going to have a Friday evening service on the 19th of September at 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 26, 27, 28 - Exeter Harvest Celebration at Trivitt Memorial Anglican Church. Proceeds to Habitat for Humanity Huron County. Family Events throughout the weekend. Please see flyer on back bulletin board for listing of events and to order tickets for the BBQ Chicken dinner.

Register now for the VON Perth-Huron "Caregiver Education Series - STRESS TO STRENGTH" starting on September 30th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. At the Royal Canadian Legion in Exeter. This is a four session FREE educational series for family caregivers who are caring for a family member or friend with a long-term health condition. Oct. 4th - Camp Menesetung fundraiser.

Camp Menesetung Turkey Dinner Saturday, October 4, 4:30-7 p.m. $14. In advance $15. At the door Children 5-10 $7. Under 5 Free Take-outs available Tickets available from any Board Member Or by calling 519-523-4290 or 519-524-6157

Oct. 15th - 8 Week Facilitated Support Group from 1:30-3:30 pm at 55 Riverside Dr. Exeter. This is a bereavement support group. Contact VON office for more info or to register for this free program at 519-235-2510. See flyer on back bulletin board.

South Huron Community Band will practice on Tuesday nights starting at 7 p.m on Sept. 9th at the Music Room of South Huron District High School. Our conductor is Aaron Neeb. New members are welcome to join for the right price (FREE). New members, no matter what the skill level, are welcome to join. Contact any of the following Directors or just come to practice.
